Around this time of year I dig out old pictures of family members who have passed on. 60+ year old childhood photos of Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Yvonne . Special people that are still alive in our hearts through photo memories. They are my 5x7 treasures.
Sometimes I wonder where the photo’s I have will be in 60 years. I'm guessing that 99% of the digital pictures I’ve taken in the last 5 years still reside on my computer. Where will they be in 2070? Will digital photos be passed to generations like prints?
Believing that digital photos should also be hard copy prints, my 2011 resolution is to print more of my own images. I've also decided to put my business where my beliefs are and will include more 5x7 gift prints for clients…tangible photo memories to hug and hold close to your heart after time and loved ones have passed.
