I was invited back this year to do a charity photo shoot for Flashes of Hope at Special Days Camp. The day was filled with rain showers and thunderstorms, but for a very short time the rain clouds cleared, the sky brightened, and the photo fun began.
I always look forward to visiting this camp and kids and staff there. Capturing their character in 15 minutes or less is not an easy task but it is alway fun. My photography manager, himself a cancer survivor, Justin Buchholz, kept me on right track and made sure we were moving in the right direction from child-to-child.
The children at the camp and the adult counselors are such an inspiration and great example of living life with joy and hope despite life's hardships. They are truly my little hero's!
